ABOUT NANCY

Nancy Romanello RN, CLDT, CCCE, CLE

Nancy Romanello is the owner and an instructor for Awaited Arrivals. She has worked in the nursing field for over 18 years in Labour and Delivery, Emergency/Trauma, Recovery room, Operating room, Intensive care (neonatal, pediatric and adult), home care, and ECMO (heart/lung bypass).
After those many years of standing by the bedside caring for women during childbirth, their families and infants in the neonatal intensive care, her passion grew to become more connected with the birth process.

She is a Certified Labour Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Lactation Educator, and certified in First Aid/CPR through the Red Cross.

Nancy is a member of the Maternal Child Health Coalition of Windsor-Essex County. Professional memberships include: CAPPA Canada, AWHONN, Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO), La Leche League Canada and the Canadian Doula Association.
