ABOUT NANCY

Nancy Romanello RN, CLDT, CCCE, CLE (CAPPA)

Nancy Romanello is the owner and instructor for Awaited Arrivals. She has worked in the nursing field for over 20 years+ in Labour and Delivery, Emergency/Trauma, Recovery room, Intensive care (neonatal, pediatric and adult), home care, and ECMO (heart/lung bypass). Currently she is working on a High Risk Antepartum/OB unit in the USA.
After those many years of standing by the bedside caring for women during childbirth, their families and infants in the neonatal intensive care, her passion grew to become more connected with the birth process.

She is a Certified Labour Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Lactation Educator and certified in First Aid/CPR.

Nancy is a member of the Maternal Child Health Coalition of Windsor-Essex County. Professional memberships include: CAPPA Canada and AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), a wife and proud mom of 2 wonderful boys.
